A personal view on Informatics Engineering Education in Spain: our past accomplishments, present threats and future challenges

After having followed university-level informatics education in Spain for the last 30 years, specially the last 10 years, when most of the Bologna-led changes have happened, and as an active participant in the Spanish Informatics Education White Book, the presenter will give his personal view on the issue.
In addition to describing the contextual and historical perspective of the Spanish degrees in Informatics, as well as the accomplishments, he will describe the current situation regarding the transition to Bologna degrees with actual threats, and he will give his opinion about some future challenges and opportunities in the design, deployment and evolution of our informatics degrees in Spanish universities.
